MAINTENANCE

Panorama Flight Service's maintenance department can support a wide variety of large, medium and small aircraft including Gulfstream II and III, Challenger 600, 601, 604 and Falcon 50 aircrafts.  

Furthermore, Panorama has exclusive maintenance contracts with the major airlines, which serve Westchester County Airport.

A brief summary of the aircraft maintenance services offered by Panorama follows:
  • Servicing and changing aircraft tires and balancing
  • Servicing and replacing aircraft brakes
  • Changing aircraft engine cylinders
  • Removing and installing engines and propellers (that are sent out for overhaul)
  • Repair and replacement of aircraft skins
  • Trouble shooting and repair of aircraft electrical systems
  • Servicing alcohol systems, oxygen systems, nitrogen systems, and hydraulic systems
  • Changing and repairing aircraft deicing boots
  • Oil changes and replacement of all aircraft filters
  • Replacing and charging lead acid and Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) batteries
  • Changing components on reciprocating and turbine aircraft engines
  • Spectrographic Oil Analysis Program (SOAP) samples
  • Inspection and repair of thrust reverser engines (Aeronca/Dee Howard)
  • Retract/extend landing gear and remove/replace landing gear components
  • Perform aircraft structural repair including windscreens and side windows
  • Perform warranty repair work for Cessna Aircraft Company
  • Assist in the removal of disabled aircraft from Airport runways and taxiways
Panorama Flight Service also performs progressive inspections and annual inspections on the following model aircraft:
